AquaFed and the new EU Data Protection Law
 
Dear friends, partners and members of AquaFed, the international federation of private water operators
 
Today, 25 May 2018 the new European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) will come into effect. The new rules give you more information and control over the data you give to companies and organisations. 
 
When subscribing to our newsletter, you confirmed that we can store your first name, last name and e-mail address and use them for the purpose of sending you our newsletter. 
 
We store and use these contact details purely to keep you updated about our activities and policies. We never sell or give away your details to other organisations.
 
If you do not agree anymore to us storing and using your data and you no longer want to receive the newsletter, please unsubscribe by sending an e-mail to thomas@aquafed.org then we will manually remove your email address from our database. 


You can also unsubscribe at any moment by simple email request and have the right to access your data upon request.
 
AquaFed will only use your data to share updates with you and to allow you to receive our newsletters. Your data will not be used for any other purposes and will never be transferred to third parties.
